We are passionate about what we do and are seeking a highly skilled telecommunications technician professionals to join our Safety NetAccess team. The successful candidate will be located in the vicinity of Clemmons, NC and be responsible for:
The Telecommunications Technician will act as the primary point of contact for customers. Duties include but not limited to responding to technical issues as they arise by documenting incident details, responding to requests, initiating customer contact, escalating to appropriate parties, and resolving incidents. All work is performed from our SNA Clemmons, NC office, this is not a field tech position, nor a remote position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to quickly adapt to advancing technologies and procedural changes
Basic understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment (XP/8)
Be able to give instructions over the phone to people of all skill levels
Be professional, polite and patient with customers on the phone
Ability to quickly interpret, diagnose, and respond to problems within a highly-dynamic technical environment
Daily Duties will consist of completing trouble tickets of various tasks including but not limited to Voicemail password reset, troubleshooting trunk lines, troubleshooting issues with analog, digital, and IP phones, working with field techs to resolve issues, and performing voice cuts with Telephone providers.
Experience with the Mitel SX-200 ICP, ML/EL, Mitel MiVoice Business (3300), Mitel MiVoice Office (5000), PhoneSuite Voiceware is a plus, but not required.
Training will be provided.
Candidate must be able to successfully perform the necessary responsibilities and functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.This position will reside at SNA Operations Center in Clemmons, NC. This is not a remote position. SNA office hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
